Overview & Amenities
Wright Hall is a traditional residence hall with community-style bathroom facilities. Each room in Wright has its own sink with cabinets and drawers underneath. Rooms are furnished so that each resident will have one bed, one set of drawers, one desk, and one desk chair. Voicemail, internet and cable hook-ups are available in each room. Individual heating and air units are in each room and are controlled by the residents. The only single rooms are the RA rooms. On the main floor, there are no residence rooms. Instead this floor contains the Residence Director’s apartment and office, the Office of Residence Life, and laundry facilities (eight washing machines and eight dryers). Wright shares a main lobby with Maddox Hall. The front desk and the mailboxes are located in the lobby. There is also a large-screen TV, a pool table, and plenty of couches and chairs to relax in or hang out in while talking with friends. There are three residential floors in Wright Hall.
Staff
Six Resident Assistants are dispersed throughout each floor. They are there to answer any questions you may have, to do programming, and to enforce the university policies. A Residence Director, full-time professional staff member, lives in an apartment on the main floor of Wright. She supervises the Resident Assistants and manages the day-to-day operations of the complex. If residents have any issues that are too complex for their Resident Assistants, then the Resident Director will be notified. The Wright Hall Staff is here to ensure that residents have an enjoyable, and an exciting first experience living on Belmont’s campus.
