Dr. Brown has been a practicing physical therapist since 1983, specializing in the area of adolescent and adult neurologic rehabilitation. Prior to coming to Belmont, Dr. Brown was on faculty at UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Ithaca College, and most recently at Vanderbilt University where she was also Physical Therapy Coordinator for Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute. She has presented multiple courses on motor control and motor learning and currently teaching in the area of neuroscience, histology and adult neurologic rehabilitation. Dr. Brown is a member of the APTA's sections on Education and Neurology.
