Psychology & Pre-professional Curriculum
Most psychology majors pursue a career in psychology or a related field by attending graduate school or going directly into the work force. Psychology is also excellent preparation for careers in professional areas such as law school, medical school, physical therapy and occupational therapy, to name a few. We have had graduates go into all of these areas. To be a successful applicant to these programs, however, you need to take appropriate coursework and obtain other educational experiences.
Below are some links to information about pre-professional studies. Keep in mind that Belmont will provide quality advising both in the psychology major and in the pre-professional major you choose.
