Dr. Linda Jones
Dr. Linda D. Jones joined the faculty on a fulltime basis in the
fall of 2000 after serving as an adjunct at Belmont for a several
years. She earned her Ph.D. at Kent State University in 1989 and
has served in teaching and research positions at Vanderbilt
University's Kennedy Center prior to coming to Belmont. Her
areas of interest are chronic illness in minority populations,
sickle cell disease and health psychology. She describes herself as
a 'bookaholic' and loves to travel. She and her
husband are proud parents of daughter EmmaJulia (9 years old) and
son Christopher Jones, Jr. ( 5 years old).
