| | Student ministries Belmont is a Baptist school. Proudly so. But that description alone can't do justice to the Christian spirit on campus, and the diversity of values on our campus. Our students represent a wide spectrum of denominations and faiths.
University Ministries unites the various Christian groups that are active at Belmont, and coordinates outreach efforts on campus and in the community. Here are just a few of the individual religious organizations that operate on Belmont's campus:
- The Baptist Campus Ministry is a ministry organization focused on outreach and missions.
- Belmont's Christian Music Society is a student-run organization designed for the education and exposure of students to the issues involving Christian ethics within the entertainment industry.
- Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is Belmont's chapter of members of the Presbyterian Church in America. RUF meets for Bible study weekly, and members attend local churches on the weekend.
- Refuge works to unite college students in the Nashville area and provides a simple, fresh, and powerful atmosphere in which to worship. Refuge worship groups meet every Tuesday night for fellowship.
- Creative Ministries focuses on conveying the love of Jesus Christ through laughter, music, and dramatic performance.
