Aid for undergraduates

The amount of financial aid awarded each year makes a Belmont education reasonable and affordable. We distribute comprehensive aid packages made up of a combination of need-based aid and merit-based aid. To be eligible to receive any form of need-based aid from Belmont University, you should complete and return the FAFSA by March 1 of the year in which you plan to enroll.

Merit scholarships
Merit scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and achievement. under the tree Scholarships are gifts that do not need to be repaid. In order to be considered for academic merit scholarships, you must complete the application for admission to the university on or before December 1.

Grants and work study
Grants are a form of need-based aid distributed to students. Grants do not need to be repaid. Work study places students in on-campus work positions. Eligibility for grant and work-study programs is determined by the information on your FAFSA.
