| | Applying to Belmont - After you apply
After you've been accepted to Belmont, you'll need to begin preparing for your first year here by making sure your enrollment deposit, housing application, and class registration are completed by the appropriate deadlines. Below is some information that will get you started.
Enrollment deposit An enrollment confirmation form will be mailed with your acceptance letter. Complete the information requested in this form and return it with your $250 nonrefundable enrollment deposit. The deposit secures your place in the entering class for the term in which you have been admitted.
Housing application The enrollment confirmation booklet also contains a housing application and a housing exemption request. One of these must be completed prior to returning the booklet. If you plan to live on campus, $100 of your enrollment deposit will be set aside to cover the housing deposit. If you cancel your housing assignment prior to enrollment, the deposit is nonrefundable. All full-time students under the age of 21 who do not live with relatives over age 25 or students with fewer than 65 credit hours are required to live on campus. Exceptions must be approved by the Office of Residence Life.
Student health form A student health form will be mailed with the acceptance letter. It must be completed and returned prior to registration.
New student orientation Towering Traditions introduces new students to life at Belmont. Students will meet and establish relationships with their new classmates and become more comfortable in their new environment. Registration for classes also begins at this time. Visit the Towering Traditions web site for more information about the orientation program and upcoming dates.
