Heather Germain

As a native of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada I earned my bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from Briercrest Bible College in Caronport, SK Canada.

I spent the first  six years of my professional career working in various capacities in the social work field,  first at a long term intensive residential treatment center for young women in crisis and then at a short term domestic violence shelter for women and children.

As the Program Assistant for the School of Nursing at Belmont University I have the joy of working and supporting the staff, the faculty and the students who are associated with the Nursing programs.  The majority of my time is spent tracking health records and clinical placements for our nursing graduate and undergraduate programs.  It is a pleasure to assist each student as they work toward the goal of completing their degree and leave Belmont equipped to be excellent care givers.  It is a privilege to support a team of educators who are passionate about their work and who are committed to excellence in teaching their profession.   I am excited to be a part of the staff at Belmont University and a part of the journey in the lives of individual students.
