Bruce Dudley

Mr. Bruce Dudley is a Full Time Instructor of Music in the School of Music. Since 1995, he has taught courses in jazz piano, commercial ear training, and improvisation.
Mr. Dudley earned a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from the Eastman School of Music, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Business and Technology from New York University. He has also studied at the Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, and earned a diploma in audio engineering from the Institute of Audio Research in New York City. Mr. Dudley has also been an instructor of jazz studies at the Nashville Jazz Workshop, San Jacinto College, St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, and the Eastman School of Music. He has conducted many jazz workshops throughout the United States, and has been an adjudicator at many festivals including the Texas Music Educators Association, Maritime Musicfests, and International Association of Jazz Educators. Mr. Dudley toured with Crystal Gayle for two years, and the Nelson Riddle Orchestra for eleven years. His other performance credits include artists Little Anthony and the Imperials, the Moody Blues and Broadway tours ( Guys and Dolls, Grease and Fiddler on the Roof). Also known for his composition abilities, Mr. Dudley has composed music for Disney, Carnival Cruise Lines, and the soap opera Guiding Light.
