Heavy Metal Band (Tuba Ensemble)
The Heavy Metal Band is the School of Music's newest instrumental ensemble comprised of tuba and euphonium players from the various majors across our campus, as well as community members. The ensemble rehearses weekly and presents one concert per semester, in addition to special appearances across the campus and community. Literature is comprised of original works written for the medium, in addition to arrangements and transcriptions ranging from rock 'n roll to classical masterpieces. Participation in this ensemble is open to all students regardless of their major through an audition process. Please contact Dr. Gary Schallert for more information.
