Megan Coppage
Public relations at Belmont lets me combine two areas of study
that I am most interested in. I am majoring in pubic relations and
will receive a minor in business administration with a healthcare
management emphasis. Although I am specializing my degree, I am not
limited to healthcare because PR is relevant to all
businesses.
At Belmont all of my professors have extensive amounts of work in the field they teach allowing them to share personal stories of their experiences. Through my internships I am able to gain my own experiences helping me decide where I would like to work. By the time I graduate, I will have had at least three internships at various firms and organizations in Nashville largely in part to Belmont's strong relation with PRSA, the Professional Public Relations Society of America.
