Becoming a PR major was one of the best decisions I've made since arriving at Belmont. After switching my major three times, I finally found the perfect fit. My adviser's enthusiasm for the program convinced me that I wanted to become a part of this new and growing major. With the help of her and other faculty members, I've finally found something that I'm not only good at, but that I really enjoy. Not many of my friends get the kind of personal attention from their advisers and professors that I get from the PR and media studies faculty. They are always willing to stay after class to help with problems or just to talk. I don't just feel like a random name on list, I feel like my professors know who I am and are interested in the things I'm doing outside the classroom.
