Rich Tiner
Before coming to Belmont, Rich was Vice President of Operations and Programming for the Nashville-based Morningstar Radio Network. For several years, he served as host of the nationally syndicated radio show Music City Sunday with Rich and Famous, which featured a recording artist co-host each week. Rich also spent several years on the faculty at Eastern Washington University.
Dr. Tiner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and Music from Gulf-Coast Bible College; a Master of Science in Communication from Eastern Washington University; and the Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Studies from Regent University. His teaching specialties at Belmont include Media Theory and Research; Media Management and Sales; and Mass Media & Society. Rich also serves as Belmont’s Faculty Athletics Representative.
