After working in the music business for many
years, I decided to come to Belmont to pass on what I'd
learned to others. My experiences as a songwriter, music publisher
and television producer help shape the way I teach. I've
had nearly 100 recordings of my songs by artists like Steven Curtis
Chapman and have picked up a few gold and platinum album awards
along the way.
As a television producer I've interviewed people such as
Shania Twain, Garth Brooks and Robert Duvall. Belmont is a great
place to learn about the entertainment and music business. We have
state of the art recording studios and faculty who bring
'real world' experience into the classroom.
