New Staff Orientation
All new staff will participate in New Staff Orientation.  Employees in Plant Operations and Campus Security will participate in departmental orientation within their first month of employment.  All office staff participate in a half day orientation, which is held on the third Friday of each month.  Click on the link above for details.

New Staff Workshops
All new full time office staff will participate in two half-day workshops within their first few months of employment.  They are based on Belmont's core competencies expected of all employees.

User Services 2008 Summer Computer Classes:

User Services will offer more in-depth training classes this summer!  The only charge for training is the cost of the student workbook.  The first four students in each class will have their books paid for by Human Resources!  Hurry and register online.  Check out the class outlines to see the additional topics covered in each class.

This summer, we will use a different series of student workbooks than we have in the past.  The training will still be condensed into fast-paced 3 hour training sessions.  Most of the student workbooks include a password to download software called CertBlaster.  This software provides the student with the ability to take self-assessment tests for continued learning in their office.  The software also provides practice testing for students interested in taking Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification tests.
