HON 1810: Freshmen Honors Colloquium  (0). An introduction to the nature and expectations of the Belmont Honors Program.

HON 2310: Analytics Science Models (4)  Is an exploration of the interconnectedness of the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, philosophy and other areas.

HON 2045: Honors Writing (3) An intermediate writing course in which students practice recognizing, evaluating, and constructing written arguments.

HON 1210/1215: The Ancient World & Ancient World Lab (3/1) An exploration of the humanities during the period of antiquity.

HON 1220/1225: The Medieval World & Medieval World Lab (3/1) An exploration of the humanities during the period of the Middle Ages.

HON 2210/2215: The Early Modern World & Early Modern World Lab (3/1). An exploration of the humanities between the years 1400 and 1800.

HON 2400:  Societies, Institutions, and Teams (3). An overview of the workings of societies, institutions, and small groups.                                                                      This course is required of and open only to students in the Leadership-Intensive track.

HON  2360: Honors SophmoreTutorial (2). Directed research training in the student's major field of study.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Research Intensive track.

HON 2220/2225: The Modern World & Modern World Lab (3/1). An exploration of the Humanities during the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

HON 3310:  Analytics: Math Models (4). An exploration of techniques of critical reasoning, with an emphasis on the development of the art of such reasoning.

HON 3350: Honors Junior Tutorial (1). Consists of directed research training in the student's major field of study.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Research Intensive track.

HON 3045: Thesis Writing Workshop (3) An advanced writing course.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Research Intensive track.

HON 3400: Leadership and Advocacy (3) An overview of principles for leading and changing societies, institutions, and teams. This course is required of and open only to students in the Leadership-Intensive track.

HON 3360: Thesis Prospectus Planning (1) Consists of directed research in the student's major field of study.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Research Intensive track.

HON 4000: Team Project Coordination (1) The development of a working plan for a major team project.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Leadership Intensive track.

HON 4350: Thesis Research (1)  Consists of directed research on the student's approved thesis topic. This course is required of and open only to students in the Research Intensive track.

HON 4400: Team Project Execution (3) The execution and successful completion of the major team project.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Leadership Intensive track.

HON 4360: Thesis Writing (3) The production of a research thesis or creative work in the student's major field of study.  This course is required of and open only to students in the Research Intensive track.

HON 4820: Senior Honors Colloquium (0) This seminar is led by the Director of the Honors Program and consists of three components.
