Interdisciplinary Core Curriculum.
Real life doesn't consist of history in one little cubbyhole or literature, philosophy, math, science, music, or religion in their compartments. The Honors Program integrates these fields of knowledge in a series of courses that lets the student learn through innovative exploration.

Close Faculty-Student Relationships.
Honors seminars are smaller than regular general education classes, offering the Honors student a chance to work closely with Belmont's finest faculty. The Honors Tutorial is an unique one-on-one with a professional in the student's chosen field.

Unique Privileges and Perks.
Honors students enjoy benefits not provided to all undergraduates such as freedom to form their own degree plans, a private faculty tutor, assistance in attaining scholarships, priority registration, special recognition at graduation with distinctive regalia, access to the Honors House (a seminar and residential facility), research funds for thesis projects, and access to a special library computer lab and laptop computer.

Social and Cultural Opportunities.
Belmont Honors class have toured Italy and New York; students have studied in Uruguay, France, England. They live, study, meet classes, and host social events in the Honors House, a beautiful turn-of-the-century mansion on the south side of campus. Belmont Honors students are ushers at TPAC, engineers at Nashville studios and media outlets, performers at the Ryman, and producers of campus concerts.

Studies Abroad Opportunties.
Belmont offers programs in China, Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Ireland, Australia, and other foreign countries.
