Global Leadership Studies (GLS) is an interdisciplinary program that draws from the liberal arts and professional courses across the institution. Courses in leadership, communication, business, political science, history, religion, and language will challenge you to think critically, communicate effectively, embrace ambiguity, foster creativity, anticipate change and understand international issues. With an appreciation for and understanding of leadership competencies, global awareness and cultural identity, you will be equipped to lead and serve organizations that operate across cultural, ideological and geographical boundaries. You will be able to:

Exercise civic leadership through a collaborative service learning process
Practice leadership through advocacy for social change
Exercise leadership to make progress on personal and local/global community issues
Apply leadership scholarship as it relates to current events, case studies, and ethical dilemmas with a global context
