Dr. Thomas C. Wooten

Associate Professor of Accounting

Dr. Wooten

I have taught at Belmont University since 1994. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and my Master of Professional Accountancy and Ph. D. from Georgia State University. I currently teach Principles of Accounting I & II, Principles of Auditing, and External Auditing. I really enjoy teaching at Belmont. It is a wonderful experience to be in the classroom and listen to students ask questions and become engaged in learning more about business and accounting.

Outside of Belmont, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. I am involved in my church as a member of the choir, a Sunday School Teacher for eighth grade boys, Chairman of the Finance Committee, and a Deacon. I have also recently started mountain biking and training for the Franklin Classic road race with my son and daughter.
