Our Art Programs

  Belmont Department of Art
BFA degrees include Art Education, Design Communications and Studio Art. Design Communication majors are required to choose an emphases in either Studio, Illustration, Design Administration or Web Development.  Minors are available in Art History, Design Communication, Studio Art, Painting, and Photography.  A 25-hour Art Endorsement is also available for non-majors. In addition, students may earn a minor in interior design or fashion design by following a course of studies through a transfer agreement with O-More College of Design in Franklin, TN.

Study abroad opportunities in art for the summer, a semester or a full academic year are currently available in France, Great Britain, or Italy.  The Italian program is centered at the Florence University of the Arts.
