Student Challenge is a select group of 16 students. Four
students are chosen from each of the schools of the College of Arts
& Sciences:

Humanities

Sciences
-
Social Sciences
Each student is selected by her/his school to serve as an academic representative of the College. These students visit area schools, telling their stories of college life and their unique academic experience.
If you are interested in having a Student Challenge member or another student group visit your class or organization, please contact the Office of Academic Outreach, or use the form above.
In addition to Student Challenge, the following is a list of students and/or student groups within the College of Arts and Sciences available to give presentations to schools and community organizations in the Middle Tennessee area.
The Forensics Team
Forensics is public oratory in a competitive
format. Students prepare speeches in various categories (e.g.,
poetry, prose, debate, persuasion, etc.) and travel to tournaments
where they compete with 6 other speakers in 3-4 rounds of
competition.

Association of America

Discussions of life as a college student in the sciences
Student Affiliates of the American Chemical
Society
Kids and Chemistry demonstrations
Convocation programs on campus as part of National Chemistry
